Globtour Event d.o.o. is a leading Croatian tourist agency with 40 years of experience in tourism. In 1997, the largest global business travel management company, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, entrusted us with exclusive partnership in Croatia; in 2012, we were granted the same partnership Globtour Event d.o.o. in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Globtour Event Sarajevo) and in 2013, in Slovenia (Adria potovanja), where we have successfully implemented the standards and knowledge from our base in Croatia.

 

In this respect, we do business under the name Globtour Event Group as a significant partner of Carlson Wagonlit Travel in the region for the provision of corporate travel services and the organisation of meetings and events for global and regional companies.

 

Being the first destination management company, we specialise according to geographic and production principles in the provision of complex tourism product services on all three markets.

Our teams consist of leading experts in their respective fields, from specialists for each destination, foreign emissive markets and receptive business through to project managers in the department for organising meetings and events to experts with long-term experience in the provision of corporate travel services, primarily air tickets and similar services. In the sustainability and social responsibility programme, we dedicate special attention to our employees, so that all of us feel part of the large Globtour Event family.

It is our common mission to provide the highest quality service to national and international clients in full acknowledgement of cultural diversity and social responsibility, and to take active part in creating contemporary and inventive tourism offer at the destination with our innovative approach to the development of new tourism products and an emphasis on indigenous values and cultural heritage.

We continuously follow the satisfaction of our clients, thus improving the quality of our services by relying on innovation, creativity, and the high motivation of our employees.

We dedicate special attention to destination management as the basic guideline entailed in the strategy on Croatian tourism. We develop our destination management companies presented by our complex tourism services included in the InTo Croatia brand. We have our offices in predominant micro destination centres, where we provide services either directly or indirectly (Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Split, Sarajevo, Ljubljana), while in other areas of the region we act via logistics partners (individuals and agencies specialised in the destination). At the same time, other than geographically, we also specialise according to our production principle, meaning we develop complex tourism products for special interest markets.

Apart from destination management, our project management team has a key role in the meeting and events market, providing services for the organisation of complex meetings and events assisted by specialised technological tools.

We hold ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 certificates, Travelife Partner, Eco Vadis and have also received the Index DOP award for two years in a row. We are currently in preparation for ISO 27001:2015 certification.
